I'm going to be coming to New York from Scotland. I'll be using a prepaid travel card and my visa debit card for my bank account that I hold in the UK. How do your cash machines currently read the cards? Does they use the magnetic strip or chip and pin? Many thanks Laura

Thank you for joining the TD Helps community, Laura. We'll be happy to clear up some confusion regarding our ATMs.
If you are a non-TD Customer, our ATMs will accept all non-TD Bank card holders that are members of VISA, PLUS, Mastercard, Cirrus, AMEX, Discover and NYCE including those with EMV chips. However, you may be charged up to a $3.00 ATM Surcharge when using a TD Bank ATM. Please also know that fees are subject to change, and kindly view the Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to ensure what the charge may be.
If you're using one of our ATMs and you currently bank with another financial institution, you might also like to check with them to determine if they assess any fees for the use of ATMs not owned by their banking institution.

We hope that this helps out, Laura. Have a great night!
