Hey, Joe! Thanks for writing in today on TD Helps, and we would be happy to discuss your question with you.
If your wife is an authorized signer or Power of Attorney listed on your mother-in-law's account, she would be able to request copies of any statements they both are signers on. We'd be happy to provide options to do so.
If she is not already signed up for Online Banking she may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. She will need her account number, debit card number and Social Security number to enroll online. If she does not have one or more of these numbers feel free to give us a call at 888-751-9000 and we’ll gladly help her set it up.
Once she has signed up for Online Banking she can sign in to view and print her statements as far back as 7 years.
She is also welcome to request the statements to be mailed to her. Have her give us a call at 888-751-9000 and we can put in that request right away! As always, she may also visit any TD Bank location and they can print it out the copies.
If your wife is not an authorized signer or a Power of Attorney on your mother-in-law's account, she would have to visit a TD Store during lobby hours with your mother-in-law to be added to the account. You may find a listing of TD Store locations and hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We ask that when all prospective signers being added to the Checking or Savings account make sure to bring proper identification (Driver's License, State issued photo ID, Passport, etc.) and Social Security number.
If this in in regards to a TD Credit Card, you would have to contact us directly by dialing 888-561-8861. Our Credit Card Specialist would be happy to help!
Thanks again for joining us on TD Helps!
