How does this new live posting work ? Does it go from the date you swiped the card or the day it actually post to the account ?

Thanks for joining the TD Helps Community, Marvin. We'll be sure to provide you with some helpful information regarding out processing order.
First, we'd like to let you know that transactions can only post on Federal business days and business days are every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays. This means that for any transactions occurring on a weekend, these will be considered for Monday's business day along with any transactions also authorized on Monday. We understand that this can be confusing knowing that the items may have been purchased earlier and apologize for any inconvenience.
We also invite you to read more about our processing order, which can be found in our Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ on pages 7-9. All transactions which post for any given business day may be subject to posting in the order mentioned there. This means that transactions you might make over the weekend and on Monday may post for the same business day differently than the order in which you made them. If sufficient funds are not available for that business day to cover all transactions, this could cause the account to overdraw. For a listing of our current Fee Schedule, including overdraft fees, you may take a look here: https://go.td.com/1cTejgt.
To better assist you in understanding this process or if you'd like us to review your account specifically, feel free to call 888-751-9000, anytime 24/7, to speak with one of our Banking Specialists. After account verification they'd be more than happy help. Additionally, you may visit any TD Bank Store for assistance in person. For a listing of TD Bank Stores please see here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Have a great day, Marvin!
