Thanks for stopping by TD Helps today, Jennifer. We'd love to provide you with more info on how long a wire transfer may take.
For our Domestic Wires, may take 1 to 2 business days as long as it is sent before the cutoff time of 5 PM at any one of our TD Bank locations.
If you are sending an International wire it may take 3 to 5 business days as long as it is sent before the cutoff time of 2 PM at any one of our TD Bank locations.
If you are to be receiving a wire to your account we recommend speaking with the financial institution processing the wire to confirm the time it will take to receive your wire
If you are expecting a domestic wire, you may have funds wire transferred into any transaction account (e.g. Checking, Money Market or Statement Savings); we post all incoming wires from the Federal Reserve until 6:30pm on the current banking day. A confirmation will be sent to you the day the wire transfer is credited to your account. At this time, we may not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and will return them to the sender.
Check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores, for TD Bank locations and hours.
Hope this helps Jennifer and stop by again!

Welcome to TD Helps, Sharon.
We apologize however, to initiate a wire transfer from your TD account, we do ask that you visit us at any local TD Store.
Depending on the amount you are looking to send, you may wish to utilize TD Person-to-Person Payment feature to send money to anyone within the US.
To use this feature you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have an ATM/Debit Card and Social Security number you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
Once you have logged into your Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature (The “Person-to-Person” tab should show at the top of your page after logging into your TD Bank Online Banking. As long as you have a US address on file, you should be able to send funds using this option to another US account). You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and the email address we have on file for you. Next, we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note, the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. For the Transfers Terms and Conditions please see: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
This feature does come with limits on the amount you can send or receive. To locate your current individual limits please follow these steps:
· Log into your online banking
· Click on the Person-to-Person Payments tab.
· Select the account in which you are sending the funds from
· Type in the person’s name, email or mobile number you are sending the funds to
· Type in the amount you’re trying to send
· Select the send date
· Click continue
· Complete the pop-up to add a new contact
· Click save
· Click on the info button (question mark) next to the amount box
Please see the following link for all applicable fees included in our fee schedule: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If the amount you are looking to transfer exceeds your limit, you may also want to consider sending a check payment via mail.
We hope this helps. Have a great day!
