A Cashier's Check is considered an Official Check and is valid for the time period based on your particular State (where the check was issued from). Unless otherwise specified on the check, this may be several years after the issue date. If not cashed within the period of time set by your State's Abandoned Property Laws, then the Official Check may be escheated to the State. To get more information about the escheatment process, please visit http://1.usa.gov/1r2hnzo.
For any additional questions, or if you'd like to confirm if your Official Check is still valid, please contact our friendly Customer Service Representatives, available 24/7 at 888-750-9000 to assist. If it's confirmed that the Official Check is still valid, it may be deposited into any bank account or cashed at any TD Bank Store.
