From your description, it sounds like your transactions were made using your TD Bank Visa Debit Card. The status of your pending transactions depends on how the transactions were made and we'd be happy to go over these scenarios with you.
When selecting the "credit" portion or Visa side of your Debit Card, the funds are placed on hold from your account and put into your pending file. While the authorized amount typically takes three to five business days to post to your account, the timing really depends on the merchant where you made a purchase. Please note merchants have up to 180 days to post pending transactions; however, it is unusual for an item to exceed five business days. Occasionally, pending Debit Card amounts listed may not equal the amount of the actual transaction. When the transactions clear, the actual amount will be reflected in account history. Examples of these transactions may include Debit Card purchases at restaurants or for gasoline.
If you made a purchase by entering your PIN via your TD Debit card, typically that purchase will post to your account by the next business day.
