I gave my leasing office a check on December 19. The check still has not hit my account and I'm worried. How long does this take?

Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Tasha.
If you have issued a check to your leasing office, it is up to your payee to decide when they will be depositing this check. Generally speaking, checks that are more than 6 months old are considered staledated. However, it is possible that it may still be negotiated by the Bank.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Also, you may wish to contact your payee directly to determine when they will be depositing your check. Please be sure to keep sufficient funds in your account to cover this outstanding check until it is posted to your account to avoid any overdraft fees.
Let us know if you have any other banking questions. Have a fabulous day!
