Welcome to TD Helps today, Merlyn. We'll be sure to give you clarification on how long it takes for your funds to be available from your deposit.
When making check deposits with a Teller, the first $100 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits may be held for up to 7-10 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100 be made available the same day of your deposit but the remaining amount of your check deposit will be credited to your account on the following business day. A business day is any day besides Saturday, Sunday and Federal Holidays.
When making a deposit at an ATM, if your account has been opened for 90 days or longer, any check deposit made will have the first $100.00 of your daily ATM deposits immediately available in your account. Please keep in mind, that if your account has not yet been open for 90 days, the first $100.00 of an ATM deposit will not be available for withdrawal at the time of your deposit.
Additionally, any deposits made through Mobile Banking will not have the first $100 available on the same business day. Typically, the full amount of your deposit will be made available the following business day. We invite you to visit: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF for more details about mobile deposits.

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Jomahira. This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help answer it.
In most instances, if you deposit a check, and the deposit is made before 8:00 pm, it will be made available for withdrawal on the following business day. For a deposit on a Friday, as long as the deposit is made prior to 8:00 pm, the funds will usually become available Saturday morning.
Please note, if your deposit is made after 8:00 pm on a business day or on any weekend or Federal holiday, the next business day will be considered the deposit date. For weekend deposits, this usually means that the deposit will be considered Monday's deposit and will post to your account Tuesday.

To view when your deposit will be available, there are a few options you have.
If you are currently enrolled for Online Banking, you would be able to view your TD Account online. You may also view the account activity as well. After you log into your account here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq, you may click on the “Accounts” tab at the top of the page and then click on the name of the account you want to view. To see your recent transactions select from the following drop down options: “Last 10 days, My Current Statement, My Previous Statement or All Available History” and select the “Show History” button to the right of the screen. You also have the option to view your previous statements online by clicking on Statements tab.
If you're not currently enrolled in TD Bank Online Banking and would like to take advantage of this free service, you may click here: http://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, e-mail, ATM/debit card number and Social Security number available to complete the enrollment. The page will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to complete the process. If you have any questions please call our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for further assistance.
Once you have enrolled in Online Banking, you're also welcome to check in on your recent account activity using your mobile device. To download the Mobile App for your Android or iPhone, please click here: http://go.td.com/1opBqUt. You can input your mobile phone number for a text message containing the TD Bank Mobile App link.
If you have a Business account with us and are looking to enroll in TD Bank BusinessDirect, we'll also be happy to help you with this. Please follow this link: http://go.td.com/1dl2HX6. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, the business name, and your email address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an email confirmation within 2 business days that contains your User ID and Password. In case you don't have a debit card or would like to have immediate access to online banking, you could visit your local TD Bank Store for help. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100.00 be made available at the time of deposit, but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day.
