Thanks for writing in, Julia.
When making a check deposit with a Teller or at an ATM, the first $100.00 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits may be held for 7-10 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100 be made available at the time of deposit but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day.
For your deposit that was made on Saturday, which is not considered a business day, it will be considered a deposit on Monday's business day and will be available to you on Tuesday. Please note, longer delays may apply under certain circumstances, for more information, we ask that you take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
You're also welcome to contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit a nearby TD location for further details regarding this deposit. For a listing of our locations and hours please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Julia and please let us know if we can assist again.
