Great question, Rose! Happy New Year to you, we're glad to be of help.
If you've recently sent a domestic or international wire transfer from your TD Bank account, the funds are typically debited within 24 business hours from the time you initiated the wire. Please note that this time frame applies to business days and does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Federal holidays. Additionally, the funds may not be debited from your account at the same time that you send the wire, but will be removed during the course of the transfer.
If you're a BusinessDirect user and sent a wire transfer using that online platform, a similar time frame applies.
Please keep in mind that funds are typically received by your payee within 24 business hours for a domestic wire, and 3-5 business days for an international wire. We will post all incoming wires the banking day they are received. International wire transfers sent by US Dollars can be received until 6:30pm, or if the incoming wire is Foreign Currency, it can be received until 3:30pm on the current banking day.
We hope this answers your question, Rose. Have a great weekend!
