I will be moving to tallahassee, florida and how will this effect my checking/saving acct?

Hi Susan, welcome to TD Helps. Moving can be an extremely stressful time and it'll be our pleasure to help things run smoothly for you.
When you update your address with TD Bank, it typically takes 3-5 business days to take effect, and therefore, we suggest contacting us about a week before you move. We have a few options available to update your address and we're glad to go over them with you.
For Personal Deposit Accounts you can request to change your address by calling us 24/7 at (888) 751-9000.
You can also submit an address change through TD Online Banking by visiting http://bit.ly/QT6no3. After logging into your account, you may use our "Send a Message" feature which will send a secured email to change your address. You may also request to change your address in person at any Store during lobby hours. Our locations can be found by visiting http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Another option would be to mail in a request. Feel free to mail to:

For Business Deposit Accounts you may also stop by a TD location, send us a secured message via Online Banking or send us a request through the mail, as described above.
For Business Deposit Accounts with Multiple Signers, address changes must be completed at your local TD Bank Store.
To change your address for a Credit Card, it can be changed by calling (888) 561-8861, logging on to http://bit.ly/1lVKil9 or stopping into any TD Bank Store. After logging on you will need to click on Services, Manage Credit Card, then Update Address and Phone Number. Address Change will take effect immediately on your Credit Card.
The change of address for a Personal loan can be completed by calling (800) 328-2119, stopping into a TD Bank Store or by using our "Send a Message" feature through Online Banking which will send a secured email to change your address.
Unsecured Line of Credits and Home Equity Line of Credits (HELOC) can be changed in person at a TD Bank Store or by mail after completing a change of address request form. Change of Address request forms can be received by calling (800) 328-2119.
Although, we currently do not have any TD locations in Tallahassee, we do offer plenty of other ways to bank with us! For example, Bill Pay, Online and Mobile Banking services, which allows you to access your account(s) 24/7. You can make deposits to your account by using TD Bank Mobile Deposit. TD Bank Mobile Deposit is available for most iPhone and Android devices and to Customers of at least 90 days or longer with an active Checking, Savings or Money Market account.
