Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Dorsi. We would be happy to help provide details on when your check deposit should be available.
When making a check deposit (personal or cashier's check) with a Teller, the first $100 is made available immediately. However, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for 7-10 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100 be made available at the time of the deposit, the rest of the funds will be credited to your account on the following business day. We invite you to view our Personal Account Agreement for more information: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ starting on page 39.
Should you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit a nearby TD Store. To find a location near you please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps answer your question, Dorsi. Have a good day and let us know if you need anything else.
