I was refunded money from 2 different establishments, when I spoke to them they said the money was refunded and it is now up to TD to release the money back to my account. How long will it take until the money is back in my account?

It's great to hear from you today, and we'll be more than happy to clear up any confusion.
As you mentioned that a merchant processed a credit to your account, it sounds as though they may have already debited your account for a purchase, and are now refunding the money to you. If this is the case, please know that TD Bank will never hold funds that are to be credited by a merchant. Once the funds are received, either to a debit card or by an ACH credit, the funds will become available immediately into your account.
If this is the case, and you have still not received your refund, we recommend reaching out to the merchant directly to determine when you should expect to receive your credit. In most instances, merchant credits are received within 7-10 business days; however, this can vary depending on the merchant.
In the event that the merchant did not yet debit your account for this purchase, and the amount is still pending, you may connect with one of our Banking Specialist, and they may be able to have the funds immediately credited back to your account.
