We know how important it can be to have your funds credited to your account in a timely manner.
Usually, when making check deposits with a Teller, the first $100.00 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100.00 be made available at the time of deposit, but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day.
There some instances where checks over $1500.00 or check deposits greater than the Customer’s average daily deposits may be held up to seven business days.
Please note that there are exceptions that may cause delays in funds availability. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ . On pages 40-44 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We would love to give you an exact timeframe through TD Helps, however we do not have access to your personal information as it is considered an unsecured forum.
Thanks for writing in, Amanda and please take care!
