I lost my debt card in Costa Rica. The only place I can have a new one shipped is a P.O. Box in Santa Cruz, Costa Rica. About how many days would it take to get here so that I can arrange transportation to the city to retrieve my new card? Also, will I be able to activate the card from an ATM machine down here? I will be here for another month and a half and I really need access to my money sooner rather than later. Is over-night shipping available? Please do not tell me that I need to "call customer service" as it is too expensive to make international calls. Do you offer live online assistance? that would make this process 100 times easier. thank you

Thank you for joining us here at TD Helps, Jordan. You came to the right place for information.
We are unable to provide a known delivery date to a foreign address as customs has the ability to hold the package for as long as they wish.
You may request a debit card be mailed to a P.O. Box but please know that we will be unable to expedite this request.
Customers can activate TD Bank Visa Debit Cards at any TD Bank store location or ATM as well as calling the toll-free activation line included with your mailed card. As we currently do not have a TD Bank ATM in Costa Rica, you will be required to call our debit card activation hotline in order to activate the card.
You may initiate your new debit card request via secure email from your online banking profile. To send a secure message you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. To start the process please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and email address. Once enrolled, you may send a secure message by selecting "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center." You can also find the "Message Center" by clicking on the "Customer Service" tab at the top of the page.
In order to process your request via secured message for your debit card to be mailed to an address other than what is on file, we ask that you send the following information:
Address to where the card should be mailed
Do you want your card to be sent via Federal Express?
Please include the following statement “I take full responsibility for the card being mailed to the alternate address.”
Please reach out to us again though if you have any further questions. Have a great day!
