Great to have you here on TD Helps, Munira! It's our pleasure to assist today.
Although we are unable to advise you about limits that may be in effect for any ATMs not owned by TD Bank, we can certainly let you know how you may use your TD Bank ATM/Debit card. Please note that most ATMs do have a limit on the amount of cash that can be withdrawn in any individual transaction, and you're welcome to speak with the bank which owns that ATM to find out more.
With regard to your TD Bank cards, please note that these have daily limits placed on them. For information on your daily limit amounts, please take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (Pages 43-44).
We understand there may be times when you may need to make a withdrawal which is higher than the standard limits set on your debit card. If you are expecting to spend more than what is permitted on your daily limit, we can offer a couple of options on how to request an increase. Please note, in order to have your debit card limit increased you must have a deposit account older than 90 days that is in a Normal status. You also must have a sufficient balance to cover the requested amount.
To increase one of the limits on your Visa Debit card, you can send us a written request via fax or secure message. You can send the fax to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138, or please log in to your TD Bank online account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and use the Send a Message link after clicking the Customer Service tab. With either method, please include the following information:
• Subject: Limit Increase • Account Number • Debit/ATM Card Number • Your Name • Contact Telephone Number • A Statement indicating 'Please increase my total daily Visa (or POS or ATM) limit to $X for the day.' • Your Signature (for the fax option only)
Lastly, you may also stop by your local TD Bank Store during lobby hours for assistance. For hours and locations near you, click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note, limit increases are temporary and the transaction must be completed the same day that the limit increase is granted. If you are interested in a permanent limit increase or decrease, you must visit your local TD Store location to make the request.
Thanks again for writing in, Munira and we hope this helps! Have a great day.
