We would be happy to cash any TD Bank checks for you at your local TD Bank store location. Please see a listing of TD Bank Store locations here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We will require you to have a valid photo ID (Driver's License, State issued ID, Military ID etc.). There may also be a $7.00 fee per check applied for the check cashing services. However, this fee will be waived if you become a TD Bank Customer. Please note; fees are subject to change. Can I ask you in regards to your comment- did you have to go the branch where your TD cheque was issued or could you cash it at any TD branch?
I have the same issue

If you are looking to cash a TD check, you may visit any TD Store to do so. For locations near you, check out our Store Locator here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. As mentioned above, when visiting us, please be sure to have a valid photo ID (Driver's License, State issued ID, Military ID etc.).
Noticing your location, we'd like to inform you that you've connected with TD Bank here in the States. If you are looking to connect with our friends at TD Canada Trust, we invite you to visit: http://bit.ly/1A3SEkb for more details. You're more than welcome to join their conversation or submit your own question via their TD Helps page here: http://bit.ly/1qHQQns.

Has this policy changed. I was just at a local TD branch trying to cash a TD check drawn on that exact branch. I came in with 2 pieces of government issued ID, and I was turned away. Manager said they will only help TD clients.

Since you mentioned that the check you have is drawn from a TD Bank account, you must visit a TD Bank location and we would be able to cash the check for you. We do ask that you bring a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.). Please see: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a listing of TD Bank Store locations.
There may be a fee of $7.00 for each check you'd like to cash if you're not a Customer at this time. Please note, fees are subject to change. For more information on the fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Thanks for stopping by and take care, Dustin.

Along this same line of questioning, if I am not a TD Customer but I bring in a payroll check from my employer that is paid from a TD account, will the fees apply to me?
