Thanks for reaching out to us here on TD Helps, Dave! We're glad you joined us and we'd be happy to review funds availability with you.
Usually, when you deposit a check with a Teller, the first $100 should be made available immediately. The rest of the funds are generally credited to your account on the following business day.
If you make a deposit at a TD Bank ATM before 8:00 PM on a business day and your account has been opened 90 days or longer, you will also be granted availability on the first $100.00 of your check deposits for the day. Please note that a business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. Cash deposits made with the teller or via the ATM are fully available at the time of deposit.
If you'll be using Mobile Deposit for your check, kindly note that we do not offer availability of the first $100 at the time of deposit with this feature.
Please keep in mind that exceptions can also occur which can cause delays in funds availability. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this helps, Dave! Don't hesitate to check in again with any questions and have a great day!
