Hi Magalie and thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps.
Here at TD Bank, we no longer offer certified checks; however we do offer official checks. An official check is a negotiable instrument of guaranteed funds purchased from a national bank.
TD Bank Customers may purchase official checks for any amount at any TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For locations and hours please check out http://bit.ly/TDStores. For more information on the fee for official checks take a look here http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Please take note that on the Fee Schedule it does list some accounts which waive the official check fee.
To determine what type of account your currently have, it is viewable on your statements. You can also see it on your Online Banking. If you’re currently enrolled for Online Banking, when you log in click on the “Accounts” tab and it’ll be listed under the “Deposit Accounts” section. If you do not currently use Online Banking, you may enroll by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY.
You will need your account number, debit card number and Social Security number.
For further assistance, or to schedule an appointment at a TD Bank Store please give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by a nearby TD Bank.
Have a delightful day!
Sandy D, Mount Laurel
