If you would like to request a stop payment on a check, or ACH, that has not been presented against your account yet, there are a few ways to do so.
You may give us a call 24/7 to speak with a Banking Specialist at 888-751-9000. Our Representatives would be happy to assist you in placing stop payments. Keep in mind you will need the check number, exact amount of the check as well as who it was made payable to. You may also go to a TD Store location for assistance. To request a stop payment online, you will need to first log in to your BusinessDirect account here: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8. Once you have done so, click the Customer Service tab on the top right, then use the Stop Payment link to continue. Again, please note you will need the details of the merchant including check number, and exact biller's name.
