Thanks for visiting us at TD Helps, Jim! We appreciate your interest in opening an account with us and would be more than happy to help.
You may visit us at any TD Store during lobby hours to open your HSA account. Although we are unable to provide a certain timeframe for how long these processes could take and appreciate your concern, we want you to know that we are here for you and are happy to help at any time of day. If you'd like to locate the nearest TD Store along with the lobby hours, please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
A few things we'd like to mention: to open an HSA with TD Bank, you'll need to bring a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID etc.) and your Social Security number with you. We also recommend connecting with the TD Store you'll be visiting for additional information regarding any other documents that may be needed to open an HSA account.
If you have any other questions, you may give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative. Also, our dedicated IRA/HSA Department is available to answer any additional questions you may have. Please call (800) 597-4437 and choose Option 3.
We hope this helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions. Have a good day!
