Good day and welcome to TD Helps, Chanel.
In order to open an individual Checking account with TD Bank and receive a TD Visa Debit Card, you must be at least 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, we do ask that an adult accompanies you at one of our nearby TD Bank Stores to open a joint Checking account. For help locating a TD Store near you, please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Take a look at our many different types of Checking accounts here: http://go.td.com/209NFX6 or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://go.td.com/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit you.
Please keep in mind that both of you and your parent or guardian will need to provide a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security number. For a minor, acceptable forms of identification for minors includes; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card. Please note that a Visa Debit Card can be issued for a minor at the Store manager's discretion.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We thank you for choosing TD for your banking needs, Chanel. Have a nice weekend!
