Thanks for writing in to TD Helps today. We'll be happy to provide you with more information regarding our debit and credit cards.
To open your own account and receive a debit card, it is required to be at least 18 years of age. You'll also need a valid Driver's License or State I.D. and Social Security number. If you're over 18 and are interested in opening an account with us, you may call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to open an account. You may review our accounts and even open a Checking account online here http://bit.ly/1f9fEn9. If you'd prefer, you could also step into your nearest TD Bank Store during lobby hours and discuss our accounts with a Banking Specialist. You can find the nearest location to you with our Store Locator here http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are under the age of 18, you can always open an account with a Parent or Legal Guardian. Just step into a Store during lobby hours and have your I.D.'s and a Banking Specialist there can help you decide which account may be best suited for you.
It is also required to be at least 18 years of age to open a credit card with TD as well. If you're over that age and would like to apply feel free to view our credit card options here: http://bit.ly/1cUjM2H. If you have any additional questions regarding our credit cards feel free to reach out to TD Card Services 24/7 at 888-561-8861.
We hope this helps, and take care.
