Thanks for joining the TD Helps Community, Marley. We'll be sure to point you in the right direction today.
To open your own account and receive a debit card, it is required to be at least 18 years of age. You'll also need a valid Driver's License or State I.D. and Social Security number. If you're over 18 and are interested in opening an account with us, you may call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to open an account. You may review our accounts and even open a Checking account online here https://go.td.com/2biYzLp. You can find the nearest location to you with our Store Locator here https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you are under the age of 18, you can always open an account with a Parent or Legal Guardian. Just step into a Store during lobby hours and have your I.D.'s and a Banking Specialist there can help you decide which account may be best suited for you.
We hope you have a great day, Marley.
