We appreciate the visit, John. Thanks for considering TD Bank, we'd be happy to help!
To open your own TD account, you must be at least 18 years of age. You'll also need a valid Driver's License or State I.D. and Social Security Number.
We invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a Checking account, please click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
To open an account with us, you may open the account online by clicking on the "Open Account" box located beneath each particular account listed. You could also connect with us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and we'd be happy to help!
If you prefer, you could also step into your nearest TD Bank Store during lobby hours and open an account with our Specialists. You can find the nearest location to you with our Store Locator here http://bit.ly/TDStores.
However, if you are under the age of 18, you can still open an account with TD Bank. Please note, as a minor, you must open an account with a parent or Legal Guardian. Just step into a Store during lobby hours and have your I.D.'s with you along with a birth certificate or paperwork showing Guardianship. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US birth certificate or Social Security Card.
We hope the information provided was helpful, John. If you need anything else, please let us know.
