Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Dick. We're glad that you are interested in banking with us and we'll be sure to answer any questions you may have.
We'd like to start by stating that in order to open a deposit account with us and be the primary owner, you would need to be at least 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you may bring an adult with you to open one of our custodial accounts. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US birth certificate or Social Security Card.
We'd also like to invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you've decided on the best account(s) for your needs, you can open the account(s) online through the links mentioned above, calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visiting any TD Bank during lobby hours.
We hope this answers your question, Dick and come by any time you have a question. Have a great night and enjoy the rest of your week!
