I have a TD account, but I would like to cancel it because I am not in the US anymore.
I tried to cancel this account before leave the country, but I could not do that because I had some money in it yet. Also, I have tried to login on my online account, but I could not reset my password because I do not have a SSN.
So, I would like to know what I should do to cancel my account, considering I am in Brazil.
Thank you for your attention.

Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Helosia! We'll be sure to provide some information for you regarding your account closure question.
Since you mentioned that you do have a balance left in your account, it would be necessary for you to either withdraw the funds from your account using your debit card, make a purchase for the exact account balance or you can write a personal check for the account balance amount. Once your balance reaches a zero balance, you can then close your account.
If you are unsure as to how much money is left in your account, please give one of our 24/7 Banking Specialists a call at 856-751-9000 or via collect with operator's assistance from a land line at 00+1-215-569-0518. Once our Specialists verify your account information, they can verify your account balance assist you with your online banking and provide additional assistance regarding your account closure request.
We hope this answers your question, Helosia and come on by TD Helps any time you have a question. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!
