Thank you for submitting your question to us on TD Helps, Hasuan! We'll be happy to clear up some confusion regarding when you can use the Cash Advance feature.
TD Bank Customers can use their TD Debit card to obtain a Cash Advance at any Store location up to $5000 per card/per day once the account has been opened. Please also know that the cash advance amount will be immediately deducted from TD Customer’s primary Checking account. Please note, in order to use this service, the funds must be available in your account.
Currently, there is no charge for this service if it is requested at a TD Bank Store location. To find TD Store locations and hours near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. If it is requested at another financial institution, you may be charged a fee by them.
Please ensure you have the physical card present to process the cash advance. Additionally, there are pre-set daily limits when it comes to Cash Advances. For more details, please check out: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ, on pages 43 and 44.
If you are looking to inquire about our optional TD Debit Card Advance Service in order to avoid Debit Card declines, then we may authorize ATM transactions or one-time debit card purchases even if the funds are not available in your account at the time of the transaction. Please take a look at this page for more detailed info about this feature: http://bit.ly/1AlCYEy.
Please note that as this is a discretionary service, and a purchase or ATM withdrawal on your account may be declined even if you are enrolled in this feature.
If you have any other questions, please contact us at 888-751-9000, available 24/7, or visit your local TD Store.
We hope the information provided helps, Hasuan! Let us know if you have any other questions!
