How they will verify my signature on check when I opened checking account online? Do I have to go any branch to sign any paper so that they can verify my signature on check?

There are a few ways to open new accounts online. Please note when starting a new account application, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or fund the account with a transfer from another deposit account you may have, using the routing and account numbers. You're also welcome to make your first deposit in person, and please see our Store Locator at http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your closest Store.
You're always welcome to open a new account by phone, or if you have any questions about our checking accounts or the opening process, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives. They will be more than happy to help you, and if you open the account by phone, your Representative will be happy to provide convenient deposit options for you.
Typically, you should expect to receive your welcome kits via mail within 7-10 business days of your account opening date. Additionally, if you chose to receive a TD Debit Card during the account opening process, you should also expect to receive it via mail within 7-10 business days. Please note, for security reasons your card will be mailed in a white envelope.
If it has been more than 7-10 business days and you have yet to receive your welcome kits and TD Debit card, we apologize for the inconvenience; please give us a call at 888-751-9000, available 24. After account verification, we'd be happy to help! You may also visit us during lobby hours for additional assistance. Our Specialists can provide a welcome kit and also print out a new TD Debit card for you right there! Please keep in mind, if you request your card at the Store, please let the Specialist know to close the card you are expecting via mail.
