Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Tracy, We'd be happy to help you with a wire.
The instructions you'll need to provide, vary based on the type of wire you are sending.
If you are sending a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and account number.
If you are sending an international wire, you will need the following information:
• The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
• The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
• The amount and currency of the transfer
Please note that depending on the currency you're sending the wire in, some transactions may take longer than others. It is recommended to contact the financial institution you're sending the wire to in order to determine what information they require.
Keep in mind that in order to schedule a wire from a personal account, you will need to visit a TD Store during lobby hours. For hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
The instructions to receive a wire vary slightly. In order to receive a domestic wire transfer, you will need to provide the sender with the following:
Your full name as it appears on your account
Your full account number
Specify that the funds are routed to TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington Delaware
ABA routing number: 0311-0126-6
In order to receive an international wire in US dollars, you will need to provide the information mentioned above. If the funds are being sent in foreign currency you will need to provide the following additional information:
Wire to: The Toronto-Dominion Bank Swift code: TDOMCATTTOR The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2 For Further Credit to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A Swift code: NRTHUS33XXX TD BANK, N.A. TD BANK, N.A. Branch Address: 6000 Atrium Way, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 USA In Favor of: Beneficiary Account Number Beneficiary Full Name: Your full name on the account. Beneficiary Address: Your full physical address.
If you have a TD Business Account you have the ability to send domestic wire transfers as an optional add-on service. For more information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1bEQmZW.
To send a wire transfer via your BusinessDirect Online Banking, you must first be enrolled. If you have not enrolled and have a business ATM/Visa Debit Card, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6.
Here are a few things to remember when enrolling:
Only primary business owners or authorized signers who have access to all accounts for the business may complete the initial enrollment in BusinessDirect
- Your ATM or Debit Card number is required to enroll online. Please visit your nearest TD Bank to enroll if you do not have an ATM or debit card.
- Please use the company name exactly as listed on your TD Bank account.
- Upon successful enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you supply. Please note, this may take up to 2 business days. Please be sure to check your Spam folder if you do not see this in your Inbox.
If you do not receive the email confirmation, please see Customer Service at your local TD Bank Store during lobby hours for further assistance. Once you're able to access your business account via BusinessDirect, please select the "Wire" tab and fill out the necessary fields to set up wire servies. Once done, please select "Submit." Within two business days you will receive a phone call to verify your wire enrollment. If you miss the call, please stop into your nearest TD Bank location for further assistance.
Keep in mind that wire transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
