When I have a check how do I deposit it

Hi Chris, thanks for coming by TD Helps with your inquiry.
If you were looking to deposit your check at a TD Store or Drive Thru, you will need to fill in a deposit slip. Check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of hours and locations near you. If you do not have any slips available, no worries, our Specialists can provide them to you. Once you fill in the necessary fields and have endorsed the back of the check, please hand both items to the Specialists and they'll be happy to deposit your check into the account you'd like credit.
If can also deposit funs via TD ATM. Making an ATM deposit is fast and easy. When depositing a check into the ATM it is important to endorse the back of the check. Once you’re ready to make your deposit, input your debit or ATM only card into the ATM and follow the below instructions (which will also be shown on the touch screen):
- Enter your PIN
- Choose “Deposit”
- Select “Yes, To Continue”
- Choose the desired account type
- For deposit type, choose “check”
- Hit “Continue when ready”
- Put in your deposit
- Make sure the deposit on the screen is correct
- Then, select “Finish Deposit”
- When transaction is complete, select “no”
- You will then have the option to choose “yes or no” for your receipt, if you select “yes” you will be able to view the check image on your receipt
If you have been a TD Bank customer for at least 90 days or longer with an active checking, savings or money market account, you can also deposit your check via TD Mobile Deposit. You can always visit: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF to view other Frequently Asked Questions which could be useful.
If you have not been enrolled for Online Banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once there, you will need to choose "Personal" from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you need assistance, feel free to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help! You may also visit us at any TD Store for help!
Once you've enrolled via www.TDBANK.com, you can than download the TD Bank Mobile App. To do so, you can click here: http://bit.ly/1opBqUt. Please select the correct tab and input your mobile phone number for a text message containing the TD Bank Mobile App link. You may also visit your AppStore for an iPhone, Google play or Amazon Appstore for Android if you have an Android device or the Blackberry App World if you have a Blackberry device.
If you've been a customer less than 90 days and are unable to visit a TD Store or TD ATM, we have another option for you. You can make a deposit via mail by sending your deposit to: TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243.
Here are some tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
