I am closing on a realestate Transaction, and the broker is requesting me to wire transfer funds at the time of closing. I have never done this type of transaction before, can you give me some advise on what to do ? Sincerely Joe Quinn

That's a great question, Joseph! We'd first like to congratulate you on your closing, and we are more than happy to help!
In order to transfer money electronically to another financial institution within the United States, you may visit your nearest TD Bank Store to initiate an Outgoing Domestic or International Wire Transfer. You will need to provide the name, routing and account number of the recipient. The cut-off time for domestic wire transfers to be processed on the same banking day is 5:00pm.
If you are transferring funds to an institution abroad, you have the option of sending an International Wire. To do so, you will need to provide the foreign bank our SWIFT address, which is NRTHUS33, as well as obtain their SWIFT address. You will also need to provide the name, routing and account numbers of the recipient.
Foreign Currency Wire Transfer requests received by the International Department by 1pm weekdays will be sent the same day. US Dollar Wire Transfer requests received by the International Department by 2:00pm weekdays will be sent the same day.
We utilize the services of correspondent and/or intermediary banks to transfer funds to banks overseas. These banks might charge a fee for their services, and the correspondent and/or intermediary bank might deduct these fees from the wire transfer amount. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
Keep in mind that there may be fees associated with the sending of a wire transfer. To learn more please visit here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
