Good morning Catherine. Welcome to TD Helps!
Generally, in order to add a Power of Attorney to an existing TD Bank account, both parties visit a TD Bank store together with your Power of Attorney form and your valid photo IDs. This way, both of you can sign the required maintenance form in order to complete your request.
If you are unable to do so together in person, (without the existing TD Bank Account holder) please reach out to your local TD Bank store to determine what options are available to add you to the account as Power of Attorney. To find out our TD store locations, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this provides some help Catherine. Let us know if you have any other questions.
