We need a lien release for an auto that was purchased 10 years ago and the loan was held by DC FIN SVCS AMER LLC. We have a duplicate copy of the title that shows a lien but there isn't one anymore. I found online that TD Auto Finance took DC FIN SVCS over. We have no account number with TD Auto Finance so the automated system doesn't give us any help. We must register this vehicle in another state to comply with insurance laws, but must have the lien release to do so. How can I get this resolved and fast? Thank you.

Welcome to TD Helps, Terri. We'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
Please know that though TD Auto Finance and TD Bank share the same TD Shield, we are separate entities. Because of this, we recommend reaching out to TD Auto Finance directly for assistance.
They can be reached at 1-800-556-8172, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. You are also able to visit their web page here: http://go.td.com/1GaNthy.
We hope this helps, Terri and have a good day.

Thanks for joining in on the conversation today, Richard.
As our friend Megan mentioned above, in order to obtain a lien release, we ask that you connect with a TD Auto Finance Specialist directly.
Please understand that TD Bank and TD Auto Finance are separate entities, and because of this, we do not have access to any loans that are being held by TD Auto Finance. We apologize for any inconvenience.
For more information on how you may contact TD Auto Finance, we recommend reviewing Megan's answer above, as the information she provided is still up to date, and accurate.
We hope this helps, Richard. Have a great rest of your day, and thanks again for joining us!
