We hope you're enjoying your vacation, Brittaney, and we'd be happy to help you maintain your account while away!
You are able to use your TD Visa debit card anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide! You'd continue to use your debit card at merchants and the ATM as if you were still in the US. These international transactions are free of charge and we even handle the conversion.
Keep in mind that there may be a fee associated to using a non-TD ATM. You can learn more about this fee here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
If you haven't done so already, we recommend connecting with a Banking Specialist to place a travel notification for your trip. You can reach a Banking Specialist from outside of the US 24/7 by dialing 856-751-9000 (215-569-0518 collect from any landline telephone). Be sure to use country code 011. Once speaking with a Specialist, they would be happy to update your account.
In addition to calling, you're able to reach us via secure message. To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in. If you choose to send a message, be sure to include the exact dates and destinations of your trip.
We also recommend taking a look here: https://go.td.com/2s4G3Pe at our travel tips!
We hope this helps, Brittaney. Have a great day and wonderful trip.
