I opened a business checking account with an associate, at a Maryland Branch, and would like to close it. The account has a negative balance from fees. How do I close it?

Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Michael. Though we hate to see you go, we understand that sometimes our banking needs change and we'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
Based on your account type, the processes for closing your business account may vary. Because of this, we ask that you contact your home Store for clarification on the account closing process. If you do not recall which Store you opened the account at or need their hours and telephone number, please take a look here http://bit.ly/TDStores for more information. Please note that in order to close any type of account, the balance must be zero dollars and zero cents. If your account is currently overdrawn, your balance would first need to be resolved prior to any closing processes.
Thank you again for joining us, Michael and have a good day.
