I recently signed up for direct deposit. I got paid yesterday and the deposit in my account says "$.00" My pay statement says it is waiting for my bank to verify my account. Will this work itself out or do I need to do additional followup?

When you set up direct deposits with your employer, please keep in mind that it generally takes 1-2 payment cycles to begin. Usually, employers will test the account first with a zero dollar deposit to make sure all your account information is correct. In that case, you don't need to take any additional actions.
