Hello. I was supposed to receive a transfer from Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania which was made on the 11/07/2017 but it could not be completed. It is a tax refund for having worked in the U.S. with a J1 visa during 2016.
I provided the information that you gave me for receiving a wire in U.S. Dollars to RT Tax:
If you are receiving a wire in U.S. Dollars, we ask that you provide the instructions below:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A.
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Beneficiary Account Number: Your full TD Bank account number
Beneficiary Full Name: Your full name exactly as we have it listed on your account
Beneficiary Address: Your full address exactly as we have it listed on your account
They contacted me and told me that the money transferred came back to their account automatically.
I want to know if I need a bank allowance or anything extra in order to receive the transfer on my account.
I have a checking account with money on it and I am not currently in the U.S. since I live in Argentina.

We're sorry to hear that your wire transfer wasn't successful, Stefany, and we'd be happy to offer suggestions.
In order to successfully receive a wire transfer, the information you provided the sender would need to match that of your account. If any of this information was incorrect, the funds would be returned.
Since you've mentioned that the funds were sent back, we encourage you to reach out to the sender directly so they may place a trace on the wire itself. When the sender places a trace on a wire, it will determine if any information was incorrect and the exact reasoning why the funds were returned.
