Welcome to TD Helps, Lauren.
We're sorry to hear that you may have provided incorrect information to have a wire transfer credited to your TD Bank account, and we'll be more than happy to help!
Here at TD Bank, in the event that incorrect information is provided for a wire transfer, such as a closed account number, typically, the wire transfer will be returned to the sender. The transfer is generally returned within 5-10 business days; however, it's important to note that this time frame can vary depending on how the transfer was initiated, as well as the financial institution.
If you would prefer to confirm that the wire transfer was returned to the sender, you may either connect with them directly so that they may review the transaction with their financial institution, or you may also connect with one of our Banking Specialist.
Banking Specialists can be reached by simply dialing 1-888-751-9000, and for your convenience, are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You would also have the option of speaking with a Customer Service Representative at your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We sincerely hope this provides you with some peace of mind, Lauren, and please let us know if we can answer any additional questions or concerns you may have.
Take care, and have an excellent day.
