I always deposit my rent payments directly into my landlord's TD bank account, usually by writing a check, but can I make a rent payment and deposit it into his account using my bank debit card? Not a TD bank debit card...

Happy Wednesday, Ann, and welcome to TD Helps.
This is a great question.
Currently, TD Bank does not have the ability to debit a certain amount from a card you may have with another financial institution to credit to one of our Customer's accounts; however, you may have the option of withdrawing cash from a TD Bank ATM, or even performing a cash advance with one of our knowledgeable Tellers, to then have the cash credited directly to your landlords account.
While you should be able to perform a cash advance with TD Bank, as well as retrieve cash from one of our ATM's, we'd like to recommend that you speak with your financial institution directly before doing so to determine if this is possible, or if you have any additional options available to you.
We apologize that we couldn’t assist you directly today, Ann, but we hope this helps.
Thanks for stopping by today, and have a great rest of your Wednesday.
