Good morning Shalika, welcome to TD Helps!
Thanks for considering TD Bank for your banking needs.
We would like to inform you that you're required to be 18 years of age or older, in order to open an individual account with TD Bank. Anyone under the age of 18 may open a joint Checking or Savings account with a parent, guardian or custodian by visiting a TD Bank Store. You can review store hours and locations by clicking this link http://go.td.com/298ja3Q.
If you're interested in opening an account with a parent, guardian or custodian since you are under the age of 18, they will have to bring a valid form of identification (Ex. State License, State ID or Passport) and their Social Security number. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include a School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, and US Birth Certificate. We require a Social Security number for minors as well.
When you get a chance please check out our current checking and savings account options by clicking here: http://go.td.com/29hXocc and here: http://go.td.com/1pJT9I9. You may also find it helpful to utilize our Checking Selector Tool http://go.td.com/KmmHe7 and our Savings Selector Tool http://go.td.com/1hXi2wF for assistance.
If you have any questions at all don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000.
Hope this helps, Shalika. We wish you the best of luck as you make your move.
