In order to open an individual checking account with TD Bank, you must be at least 18 years of age. A s you mentioned that you are under the age of 18, we do ask that an adult accompanies you at one of our TD Bank Stores to open a joint checking account. Please kindly keep in mind that both of you and your parent or guardian will need to provide a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security Number. As you are a minor, acceptable forms of identification for minors includes; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card.
