Thank you for getting in touch with us all the way from Greece! We hope all is well with you there and we thank you for considering TD Bank for your U.S. banking needs.
We're happy to tell you that even if you're not a United States citizen or resident at this time, you can still establish a deposit account with us. To do so, you will just need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. If you'll be in the U.S., for hours and locations take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or you can use our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs. If you decide to open a checking account, you'll be able to have a Visa Debit card as part of your account package.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a non-U.S. Resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a valid non-U.S. Passport with photo or valid non-U.S. Passport and Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also highly recommend contacting the TD Store you intend to visit prior to stopping in, to ensure you'll have all of the required documentation. While our Store list and contact information can be found at the first link above, if you'd like to call us toll free please use these numbers and we can connect you to you preferred Store. Reach us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. For your convenience, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Thank you again for choosing TD Bank, Lefteris and we hope to hear from you soon!
Looking forward to our next conversation.
