I am also interested to carry your credit card to facilitate e-payment, etc. I have a sister-in-law residing in Baltimore and can use her home address, if necessary.

Thank you for your interest in TD, Arshad. We'd be happy to help point you in the right direction.
We're happy to inform you that yes, you can open an account with TD Bank in the United States without being a citizen or resident. However, in order to open an account, you will need to visit us in person at a TD Bank Store. If you're planning a trip to the U.S. anytime soon, for hours and locations we have along the East Coast, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. To view and compare our Checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that best fits you. To view and compare Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool here http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a non-U.S. resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-U.S. passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- U.S. Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature, and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
Keep in mind that you will also need to be able to verify a physical U.S. address in order to complete the account opening process. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to one of our Cross-Border Banking Specialists anytime day or night at 877-700-2913 Option 2. Our Specialists are available 24/7 to answer any questions that you may have.
Also, as you mentioned you may be interested in a credit card with us as well, if you are currently residing within our TD footprint between Maine & Florida, then when you step inside a Store to setup a Checking or Savings account, you can also complete an application for a credit card there! You are more than welcome to apply for any TD Credit Cards that we offer. You may find it helpful to review the available cards we currently offer before you step inside a Store; they can be found here: http://bit.ly/1cUjM2H. If you have any questions before applying, you can reach out to our Credit Card Customer Service 24/7 by dialing 888-561-8861 for assistance.
We hope this helps, Arshad and thank you for your interest in TD.
