We are more than happy to answer your question in regards to traveling abroad, Donald. Sorry for the inconvenience and we'll be sure to get you in the right direction so you can use your debit card.
For security purposes, your card may be blocked since it is being used in another country. To remove the block, we recommend you place a travel notification on your account so you don't run into any more interruptions with your card. To do so, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 856-751-9000 or collect from a landline at (215)569-0518 to have a Specialist place a travel notification on your account(s).
You may also send a Secured Message through Online Banking. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Account Number, ATM/Visa Debit Card Number, and email Address. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the ''Customer Service'' tab and then select ''Send a Message''. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable. If you need help enrolling, please contact our Customer Service Line. After account verification, one of our Specialists would be happy to help.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to inform you that you can use your TD Bank Visa Debit Card worldwide, anywhere VISA is accepted. You can also use your debit card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. Please note, ATM fees may apply; we encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your debit card out of the country.
