support a federal US DOE program. Is there anyway to provide bank routing information that will allow them to deposit funds but not remove funds? I am being asked by a federal contractor working directly with the US Dept of Energy to provide SS#, bank routing #, and credit card # to reimburse me for upcoming travel directly related to support a federal US DOE program. The DOE program is legitimate, and the DOE people are are federal employees. But the administration of the program is being provided by a well known national consulting firm contracted by DOE to provide support services. I am concerned that if I provide this information to anyone, including a legitimate contractor to the federal government, my identity could be compromised and funds from my TD account could be taken. I believe that I have protection with my credit card, but is there anyway to provide bank routing information that will allow them to deposit funds but not remove funds? How can I protect my assets in my TD Business account and still be available for wire transfer of funds?
