Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Marie. We'd be glad to discuss!
On some of our accounts, there is a minimum daily balance required in order to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. If your account falls below the required minimum, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle.
Based on your question, it sounds as though you have a TD Convenience Checking account. You are able to take a look at the minimum balance requirement and any applicable fees by visiting here: http://bit.ly/18IVtY0.
Please know that TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum. Because of this we do not have access to your account/personal information. We encourage you to contact us directly to discuss your account and why the fee was assessed. You are able to call our Banking Specialists 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Representatives will be glad to discuss your account and the fee.
If you'd prefer, you also have the option of sending a Secure Message through Online Banking. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking and would like to be, please click here to begin: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message."
You may also visit any TD Bank location during lobby hours for assistance as well. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find location near you.
We hope this helps, Marie and have a good day.
