Anyway, I need to access my checking account and give a real estate broker in Farmington ernest money for a house I am purchasing. Is there any way I can have money transferred out of my account into their escrow account? Thanks, Barbara

Hi Barbara and thanks for joining us today.
Although you're unable to transfer from your Checking account to another person's Escrow account, you may transfer funds to another account type. As long as you're an Online Banking Customer, you may send money to anyone in the United States by signing up for Popmoney to make Person-to-Person transfers. Once enrolled, you'll be able to set up your contacts with any or all the below delivery methods enabled:
• e-mail address • mobile phone number (for text message delivery) • account number
For text and e-mail delivery, the recipient will receive built-in directions on how to claim the money you've sent. You can add a personal message or even an electronic greeting card to accompany the money you're sending.
To use this feature, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website. This link will bring you directly to the log in page: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you’re logged in, you must enroll for Person-to-Person payments. To do so, you would select the tab that says “Person-to-Person Payments” at the top of your Online Banking screen. Then, you will be asked to accept a User Agreement, review the Fee Schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will ask you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment and in the next three business days the recipient will receive the funds.
This feature is available for most Personal Checking and Money Markets accounts. To use these services you must have an Online Banking profile with a U.S. address, a unique U.S. phone number, an active unique e-mail address, and a Social Security number. Your eligible personal deposit account must be active and enabled for ACH transactions and Online Banking transfers. If you the amount you wish to send is higher than the Person-to-Person Payment limit, you always have the options to write a check, send a bill payment, or make a wire transfer then next time you are able to step inside a TD Bank location.
