Thank you for visiting TD Helps, Aurora.
If you have a TD Bank Account and you would like to initiate a wire transfer to an account at a different institution, this would have to be done at any TD Bank Store, during lobby hours. However, we understand that you are currently living outside the US, if your TD Bank Account has more than one signer, the other authorized signer may initiate the transfer.
To send an international wire the following information will need to be provided to TD Bank: Your full name, your address (including City), State/Province, Country and your account number of the (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number). Also, the full name and address, including the City, State/Province and Country of the financial institution receiving the funds, plus of course the amount and currency of the transfer.
For more details on sending international wires please visithttp://bit.ly/1oowsYN. When you are ready to send your international wire transfer, you will need to obtain their SWIFT address, which you can obtain by contacting the institution directly.
You should expect to receive the payment within three to five business days. We will post all incoming wires the banking day they are received. International wire transfers sent by U.S. Dollars can be received until 6:30pm or if the incoming wire is Foreign Currency it can be received until 3:30pm on the current banking day. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
Keep in mind that wire transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services.
Let us know if you have any other questions and have a wonderful day.
