I have been stuck on step 2 of person-to-person transfers since the inception of my account for nearly 8 months. I would like to use this benefit to pay my landlord his rent as he has an account in this bank as well. When using bill pay, my rent is not always paid on time because the date is unavailable using the bill pay method where as with person to person, I can transfer the money as soon as it is avail able in my account. Please help me rectify this problem.

We are sorry to hear about your difficulties Bonnie and would be happy to help.
Please note, that in order to use the Person-to-Person Payments service, you must have a Personal online Banking Account with us, as well as a US address, a unique US phone number, a Social Security number, and a valid unique email address.
When enrolling for our Person-to-person feature via your TD Online Banking, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and please confirm your email and phone number. You will then receive a text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and the email address we have on file for you. Please submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete, you’ll be ready to send the payment which the other person will receive in one business day or three business days as per your selection.
To send a transfer to your landlord, you will either need his email address, mobile number, or account number. Once you have the information needed, please follow the steps below:
-Select the "Send Money" tab located under the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab
-Beside the "To" field, please click on "Add a New Contact" link to add your landlord
-Please fill in the necessary fields
-Select the "Amount" you are looking to transfer (please note, as there are limits to this feature, to locate your limit, please select the "View Limit" hyperlink.
-You can select to make this payment a single payment or recurring. If you select recurring, you will be able to select the dates of when you would like the transfer to occur.
- You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment. Please note, in order to qualify for next day delivery, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
-Please select the Account you would like the transfer to debit from
-If you wish, you may also add a message to this transfer in the "Message" field.
